When tracking via satellite, multiple additional GPS positions are bundled during each transmission to provide more accurate and comprehensive path mapping. These extra positions are in effect sent for no cost, saving you money and giving you a better depiction of the actual flightpath of the airplane or helicopter.

Cost effective cellular IP tracking

Cellular IP tracking gives you more GPS positions at a much lower cost.

If you are still using satellite only tracking or cellular SMS tracking, there are significant savings to be had with IP tracking. Tracking data points are recorded every 15 seconds providing greater tracking accuracy. The system auto-switches between satellite and cellular networks to take advantage of lower transmission costs when in cellular data range. Position reporting rate reverts to longer, more cost-effective intervals when using satellite data services.
