Flightcell’s cellular and satellite voice, tracking and data communication systems are unlocked products. Also referred to as provider agnostic, this simply means that when purchasing the Flightcell DZMx or DZMx PLUS, you, have the full discretion in choosing the airtime, tracking and data service provider that bests fit your operational requirements and budget. Flightcell do not clip the ticket on any airtime or tracking services – we stick to what we do best, designing and manufacturing world class avionics hardware.
Flightcell works alongside many highly regarded airtime and tracking service providers across the globe - including Guardian Mobility, TracPlus, v2track, Blue Sky Network, Flight Explorer, Sky Net and Spidertracks. All these providers offer intuitive tools and real time tracking. They generally support all the features of the Flightcell DZMx & DZMx PLUS. Some feature examples include:
- High definition (HD) real time tracking
- Hobbs meter
- Out Off ON IN (OOOI) data
- Automated rescue monitoring (ARM)
- Aerial fire-fighting telemetry
Once you have shopped around providers and selected the best provider for your operational needs, the provider sets up your airtime and tracking services and accounts directly. During this process Flightcell’s service team provides ongoing support to ensure a seamless implementation. Regardless of which provider you chose, you can be confident your aircraft’s flight will always be tracked, thanks to Flightcell’s smart least-cost auto-switching between satellite and cellular networks. In summary, all offloaded data from the Flightcell DZMx or DZMx PLUS goes directly to the tracking service provider, not Flightcell, so there is no double dipping!
