Over telecom networks nowadays you expect crystal clear audio. However, when flying the quality is often reminiscent of conversations you had on mobile phones in the 1990’s.

In September 2018 Flightcell decided to do something about that. They upgraded the Flightcell DZMx’s audio to HD digital audio. This consisted of a 48KHz 16-bit advanced digital signal processor, providing full bandwidth support.

This improvement extends to the Bluetooth® functionality of the DZMx and Flightcell often get comments that the audio clarity is superior to other Bluetooth systems.
